My Christmas Day 2018 by Kittyxoxo

Merry Christmas everyone!! Let's open presents together :)
Thank you for the presents even though I am more thankful to have these people in my life as friends and family, I do not care too much for materialistic things, but I really appreciate and admire functional miniature items, so thank you for the thoughtfulness :)
I'm thankful that I'm in better shape than last year and I will continue working hard, I will continue making more vlogs for you guys. I do these cause I laugh when I look back to my past experiences and I am sentimental so I collect photos and things that people give me.

I hope you guys had a good Christmas this year, maybe you have a better looking tree.. maybe you don't have a tree (I had a plastic tree and decorated it in a Youtube theme as I had no ornaments), maybe you don't even have a big dinner cause you couldn't afford it, and you're feeling thankful that you survived another year somehow. I pray that God may bless you all and provide financial stability, good health and the motivation to keep pushing forward.

Biggest Christmas Tree on this block! Kittyxoxo

Here in Port Coquitlam, I've probably never seen someone decorate their front yard/lawn with so many decorations, but these guys 'Miracle on Rae Street" have shown they are the baddest on Christmas decorations, they take donations for the children's hospital and they did an amazing job on decorating.

Romanian Ciorba De Perisoare (sour-pork meatball soup) by Kittyxoxo

This is a Romanian dish called Ciorba De Perisoare, which is like a sour soup with meatballs, and the soup may taste a little sour but that is how the soups are like.. we grew up eating it this way, maybe you and your kids can grow up with this healthy, chunky soup and if you don't like it that sour, you can alter your ingredients and hold back on the sours.
Ghetto Cookin is all about finding easy recipes to make, altering originals to make it your personal creation in order to just teach you the basics in cooking and making foods without the need for an exact recipe (or exact ingredients).

You’ll notice a couple ingredients in this soup that you might not be familiar with. One being “vegeta” which I’ve talked about before, It’s a condiment that’s very commonly used in Eastern Europe in soups and stews, or if you’re like my mom, you can put it on everything. You can pretty much find this in all grocery stores with all the other spices or just replace it with chicken bouillon.

Here is a recipe from Jo Cooks, similar to the one we made in the video, however, Maria and I cooked this based on her own version (not from this recipe) but it was very similar and therefore, you can follow this exact recipe to make your own soup!

INGREDIENTS
**For Meatballs
1 lb ground pork or ground beef
1 egg
2 tbsp dill chopped
2 tbsp parsley chopped
1/4 cup rice long grain and uncooked
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 tsp salt or to taste
1/2 tsp black pepper or to taste
***For Soup
2 tbsp Avocado oil
1 large onion chopped
2 large carrots chopped
2 stalks celery chopped
1/2 tsp salt or to taste
1/2 tsp black pepper or to taste
4 cups chicken broth low sodium
4 cups water
1/2 tsp Vegeta or 1 chicken bouillon (upon taste)
3 tbsp lemon juice (from 1 lemon)
*2 tbsp lovage chopped (optionally: this is not commonly found, only if you have a garden.. so don't stress about it)
parsley for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS (from recipe)
In a bowl add all the meatball ingredients together and mix well. Shape into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter. You should get about 30 to 35 meatballs, depending on how big you make them. Place meatballs in fridge until ready to add to soup.
Heat the olive oil in a heavy bottom 5 qt pot to medium heat. Add the onions, carrots and celery to the pot and cook for about 5 minutes or until the onions soften and are translucent.
Season with salt and pepper. Stir in the tomato paste, then add the chicken broth and water. Bring to a boil then add the meatballs one at a time.
Cook for about 10 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through, they will rise to the top when they are done. Season with vegeta then add the lemon juice and lovage. Taste for salt and pepper and adjust as necessary. Very slowly pour in the egg in a steady stream. To make shreds, stir the egg rapidly in a clockwise direction for one minute. Cook for another minute then garnish with parsley.

Serve hot with a bit of sour cream.

NOTES:
Vegeta is a condiment of salt with flavor enhancers used a lot in soups. It's a condiment that's quite popular in Eastern Europe.

Lovage is a herb belonging to the parsley family, commonly used in Europe for flavoring foods. The leaves add an intense celery-like flavor to soups, stews or stocks. If you do not have it, simply omit it in the recipe.

Please keep in mind that nutritional information is a rough estimate and can vary greatly based on products used.

Crochet Update part 5 ~ Fail or Success by Kittyxoxo

This is my crochet update vlog for the remaining year of 2018, the next ones you will see in 2019 and I hope you enjoyed my creations thus far. I like to create new things, come up with crochet patterns on my own, some I have made without using patterns because it's just a fun process of knitting.

A Pop-up Guide to Westeros book by Kittyxoxo

I happen to come across this fun pop-up book, it's been a while since I've seen one of these and as enormous in size! Each building and fold of these make them pop back down without the book getting torn into bits, and it has secret little pop up areas that tell additional things about the movie. I admit, i kind of enjoyed it, and i was impressed with the pop-up skill level of this..

Anyways, thanks for checking out my short little vlog, it's just a fun little review thingy, great stuff in it and if kids are watching the movie, it would really help them get a better understanding of the areas and such :)

Addicting Woody Puzzle Game (part 1) by Kittyxoxo

Can you break your high score? I had 5200 level that i was able to bypass once again and now i'm not sure if I will be able to beat my new high score but check my upcoming videos and let me know what is your best record thus far!
I think this is one of the most fun brain games and it's quite addicting once you get into it, it's a different type of Tetris but it's very fun and helps you think of strategies and other moves :)

Mini Vlog #19.5: We made our own Dim Sum Homemade

The difference? I think both versions were pretty good, which one did I enjoy the most? I think I enjoyed it at home a little more just cause we can watch tv and be silly, and there's nothing much than eating it at a restaurant.. but the restaurant did have much more varieties and the food is made faster than at home, although it was still very inventive to make it at home and use our own fav sauces..

We can't even pet it, we don't know if it might scratch or bite but every time our door is open, it comes inside or wants to get in our apartment.. not sure which of our neighbors owns it, it just walks solo and goes from house to house.. lol Im not really good with cats, I cant tell what it wants but if its not calm, I try not to get too close to it.. It always hisses at my boyfriend as he's walking by, not sure what the beef is LOL.

Testing My New Banner in Paint 3D

I got paint 3D on my ASUS ZenBook UX305, it comes with a couple of cool apps and games and since I've been using paint for some of my Youtube preview pages, I thought I will test out to see what 3D images I can make, I was looking to make an intro for my channel, I still have to come up with one but i'm not rushing to make one since my channel is not that big anyways, so if you're using one, let me know in the comments below..

Also I edit all my videos using Windows Live Movie Maker but recently decided to test out some more buttons and found that narration button can really help in some quiet scenes where I thought it might ruin my vlog if i tried it, but it works great!
so if you're not sure how to make videos and edit them, download this easy Movie Maker and it will save you so much time :)

What to expect before/after donating blood

I donated for you or those who need it most .. hope it saves a life and will continue to donate as much and as often as i can :)
If you can and are able to, go donate blood or sign up for the one-match and see how you can save a life in your local area. You never know how much of an impact you can make.

Make sure before donating blood, you keep yourself well hydrated, drink water and liquids, preferably no alcohol ... eat something before you go so that you don't feel like feinting but usually they have juice or snacks there too.

Make sure you check if you're eligible online and read the pamphlet or visit https://blood.ca if you're in Canada, for a listing of areas that have openings for blood donations, they might not need appointments but be prepared to wait 20-30+ minutes as it takes about 10-15 minutes to donate blood. .. I feel fine at the end of the day, arm might feel a bit sore but it's not that bad and i can still move it and such, they said not to do any straneous activities so just rest it.

Mini Vlog #19: We Tried Dim Sum

We had Dim Sum in the morning, located in Port Coquitlam, BC (canada) this restaurant is called Rainbow Butterfly makes yummy dishes for you to pick, there's a big variety to choose from and it comes in sized of S/M/L so you can be sure that you won't leave with an empty stomach. Most of the time we over-eat and order too much but they give you a to-go bag and you can have your treats later :)

They make everything pretty quickly so there's not much of a waiting time, 5-10 minutes tops and the staff are always around you so you can ask for things. They also walk by with platters for you to try new things and they can accommodate 10 people to a table with a revolving centre piece so that everyone tries some yummy foods :)

So my boyfriend and I tried out this new game by Cyanide & Happiness called Joking Hazard, this game is not for kids, age restriction for 18 and under. Although it has some mild humor and graphic content, view at your discretion and I hope you enjoy watching us play it. This was a quick demo of the game and we had a lot of fun.

Made My First Jam! (2 ingredients) DIY by Kittyxoxo

This is the first jam I've made (not counting the one I've made in school or such) and I'm kinda proud of it because I was happy with the results. I did not add Pectin as most jams have it for extra thickness and stickiness but I wanted mine to be semi-runny and mostly just really yummy flavored.

So Bomb Bathbomb DIY Tutorial by Kittyxoxo

This is called So Bomb, a DIY to make your own bath bomb using only 2 ingredients, and if has some cool stuff in there. Makes a great present or pleasant bath surprise. Although one small thing could've gone wrong, in this tutorial, I was able to create a life-hack to make my bath bomb a success! YEY ME!!
I hope it has helped you in your future creations and remember, if you need to press something together for a long time, use a heavy object (carefully) or push it between your couch cushions! Hehe

2018 Canada Day with Fireworks

We are proud to be Canadian, and were wishing everyone a Happy Canada Day and I hope you enjoy the fireworks that we were able to see. It was a little shaky because it was raining so I had to make sure my phone was underneath the umbrella and I tried to capture the big ones that were flying right above us too, we sure got lucky with this amazing view and we were very close to them too.
Earlier in the day we went to the dollar store and we always check out fun things, toys and other gadets..

First time playing Minecraft by Kittyxoxo

So I did see previews about this game, i downloaded a free demo version, and it's similar to what Groundhog day feels like cause your day keeps starting over n over again.
Sometimes frustrating but I managed for a couple minutes, make sure you check it out and if you liked it, get the demo online for free, i just Googled it.
Overall not bad but it's not my cup of tea, lol, especially when everything is a Square! poor animals, LOL

Wooden Block, Minion Rush & Bubble Witch games

This wooden puzzle can be found on Google play, if you play it on the smartphone it's called Woody, but after i downloaded it on my laptop, it's called Wooden Block Puzzle, same blocks and everything, easy to play like Tetris in a way but you cannot move the blocks around, they can be placed anywhere as long as you can keep making the lines.
Don't get caught by not having enough space for the bigger block and for the 5 or 6 block long ones or it will be game over :)

Give it a try and enjoy, see if you can beat my new high score of 1750 and let me know if you want to see more like these.
Also if you want to see me play more Minion Rush, that was just a test play along with Bubble Witch.

We had this fun idea to do a Mystery Taste Test Challenge and see if we can guess the foods given by each other by the taste, and to see how our senses make us feel when we try something blindfolded. I enjoyed it whether the food was food or not, it helps rid thoughts of fear and it helps let go of certain things... because I love and trust my boyfriend that I could eat anything he feeds me, but also I like the courage I felt and the anticipation of constantly guessing what will be next or what it will taste like.

Follow me around Goodwill & Labels haul by Kittyxoxo

My mom and i went on our Canadian Long Weekend in May 21 to see what sales they had in Bellingham, Seattle. We found some awesome sales and i was mostly surprized how much we were able to get for so little, we also stopped at Label's which is now my new fav store, it has such beautiful set up and vingatey looking oufits and shoes, everything I needed. I will be sure to go again cause i can't wait!! My mom is in this little vlog and we had a lot of fun together :)
We checked out a Value Village too but they didn't have much in there so we usually stock up at Costco and made it home in time with only 10 minutes at the border on the way back, phew!!
I hope you enjoyed this and the dresses I've shown in my little haul, the manequin is for sewing purposes and i named her Wilma (or i pronounce it Vilma) and it helped me show you the dresses in full rather than on myself.

Slime Fail Compilation

Forward if u want to see the bloopers side but I figured you can enjoy a minute of some of the stuff that turned out OKAY. LOL I Just wanted to upload some funny memories from the short bloopers I had last year with all the slime craze and us trying to make ASMR videos, but I couldn't because someone keeps talking (you know who you are)... This is my Mother's day vlog to my mom Gaby, and i'm playing her fav song with a little slideshow of our timeline (some might not be in correct order). You might call your mom as "mommy or mom, mama".. but we call her, Mamaka (it's in Hungarian). She's always been there when I needed her and for that I thank her and pray that the Lord watches over her and keep her safe.
I couldn't ask for a better mom in life, she's taught the best kind of discipline with patience and kindness, and her love for me and my brother doesn't compare.

I hope you've watched the episode by now, if not, i hope you can watch most of it on our vlog since we've decided to just record our overall reaction of the movie and experience of DBZ episode 131 finale. Moisture Cushion Makeup Base from Miniso (Product Review)

I bought this new Moisture Makeup Base from the Miniso store that just opened up in the mall, they have many interesting items and I might do a follow-me vlog someday. But found this makeup and I wanted to test it for the first time on camera so you can see how it looks and if it's something you're interested in, check out the video for details :)

I am quite pale, light skinned and it's quite difficult for me to find a base that suits my complexion due to the frequent changes of my cheek pigmentation or such, but also because I have sensitive skin, it's important to make sure that this doesn't make me break out into pimples or make my skin too dry (so make sure you DON'T sleep with it on overnight!) I will try to give you updates on it next time and let you know how it feels so far..

Sew Mini Treats Unboxing and Demo (by Klutz)

** Sorry that volume got quiet and i wasn't aware lol** Check out this vlog about mini treats that I've unboxed from Amazon, and let me know if there's a specific treat you'd like to see me create, I have already made a tomato and half way finished the lemon but was unable to find the video for the finished little plush, so I hope you get this kit and make some yourself! It's very easy and the instructions are clear to follow.
You'll make the cutest plushies with the felts provided and there's also instructions on how to sew them up, i just used my own method ;) Just don't stuff them too much or they will be too fat! :D

Black Mask tested + clear mask review (reaction vlog)

I tested out this black face mask product (video starts at 4:00) but I was testing a different store-bought clear face mask that was a bit more difficult to peel it off in my opinion, although they both seemed to work the same. The black face mask was gentle and not too harsh on peeling (make sure u only apply a thin layer on), and it did the job well so I'm pleased with it. Make sure you read instructions as you're NOT supposed to apply over top of eyebrows or other sensitive areas or directly over lips etc..

Also did a small review on the Biore nose strip product that helps eliminate black heads, I can do a review on it if you like, but I love it as it does the job also, just as good if not better.
I have sensitive skin as i'm quite pale and that's why I have to be careful what products I use and test on myself, and this one is great for anyone and would recommend it if you have too many blackheads.

10 Weird Things About Me | KITTYXOXO

Here are 10 unique or weird things about myself. I usually never share anything too personal about myself or my life, but I found that some things that I do are so unique or weird when perceived by others and I wanted to share this to see if there's other people that feel they do weird things, and sometimes people don't tend to approach them or talk to them because of that. I want to let you know that it's okay to be yourself, and it's even better if you are your own unique self and you Don't change for anyone. It's what makes you stand out and you should be proud to be the way you are. There's only one Original version of you, and you should strive to be the best you can be!

Although if you collect gross stuff like bellybutton lint or someone's hair, that's a little TOO weird and maybe you might have a mental problem and might wana ask your physician about it, just make sure you're not going overboard with how weird you can be, cause there's a thin line from being "weird" to being totally "creepy".

Bleach Anime Review with Webcam Toy

This is my short review of the anime called Bleach, with 366 episodes, I was finally able to give you my input on this series. I really enjoyed it and as i am aware that some episodes could use improvement, they did a good job with the whole series and delivering all of the messages they had in mind. Although some things didn't add up or didn't follow-through, I still thought it was carefully put together and interesting fighting moves. Some of the dialogue can use some help as I think I've seen every character call Ichigo's name 10000000x times, but Ichigo didn't let us down, he showed us that no matter what, we shouldn't give up.
And I just enjoyed the fact that he represented a good character, he has good influence and he's a protector so I just like that he's stayed strong throughout the series and I'm sorry for any spoilers...
I'm not quite sure about spewing much spoilers on here but like i said, i have no negative feedback as I would still continue watching if they brought us more episodes. Don't be too picky!
My all time fav anime at the moment is still DBZ and then Inuyasha, but this one follows close to the same category as I really like the hero-type of characters :)

I did my best to beat the levels, basically you can beat them with just one star but you want to aim for more stars so you can unlock more songs. The first play will be normal speed and the second is usually a little faster. If you fail and push the wrong button or miss a tile, you get a chance to revive by watching a free ad, they're not very long but they are a bit tideous, but usually it brings you back from where you've left off and further in the game it gives you abilities to aid you and help you out a bit so you can level up.

This game is for those who like music and piano at best, I'd like to just keep playing the normal version as I love listening to the piano but as you seen, it does get crazy fast and if you play it on your phone, you night need to place it down and use both hands to play it -kinda like a real piano - lol.
